| Serving the Lord by Serving Our Neighbors |
The Disciples Kitchen is located in Waynesboro, VA and is open to individuals and families who are in need of a hot meal. Meals are served each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm in the Fellowship Hall of 2nd Presbyterian Church on Commerce Ave. Lunch is free to all in need.
Disciples Kitchen is a non-denominational ministry sponsored by more than 25 churches and service organizations. Since it opened its doors in September 2007, the Kitchen has served almost 14,000 meals and 1,000 different people. Each meal averages 50 to 60 diners.

| Volunteers from over 25 local organizations prepare and serve lunch three days a week. |
The goal of the program is to share what God has given us - His love and His blessings - by providing a hot, nutritious meal free-of-charge to anyone who needs it. This is in keeping with Matthew 25 where Jesus replied to the question, “When was it we saw you hungry and gave you food, or thirsty and you gave me something to drink? . . . Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family you did it to me.”
| Disciples Kitchen is often given food to send home with people. |

The body of Christ works best when it works together, and Discipleship and service to our Lord knows no boundaries. We are always appreciative of donations and volunteer resources. For further information, please contact us at (540) 943-3211.
